Plumbing

We undertake routine plumbing work, repairing or replacing equipment.  This is usually at a fixed cost but if issues arise and costs change we will keep you informed.

• Repairing or replacing leaking taps.

• Connecting washing machines/ dishwashers.

• Replacing electric, thermostatic or pumped showers (Part P qualified).

• Replacing shower trays or leaking enclosures.

• Installing new toilets or dealing with leaks and flushing problems.

• Resolving overflow problems.

• Changing cold water tanks and hot water cylinders.

Heating

We offer a range of options to repair or replace parts of the heating system.

• Replacing or adding new radiators and valves.

• Installing Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRV’s).

• Changing motorised valves.

• Replacing heating pumps.

• Installing under floor electric heating.

Please Note: We do not currently replace, repair or service boilers.

Bathrooms

We provide a full range of trades including plastering, electrics, joinery and tiling for a complete bathroom refit. Initially we will make an appointment to discuss potential options and give advice. We will then provide an estimate, which can be fine tuned before you make any final decisions. We can arrange the purchase of all bathroom equipment and tiles, which means that we can deal with any issues regarding the product or delivery.  We will also manage any other tradesmen required to complete the project, relying on a small number of tried and tested individuals.

There are a huge range of bathroom products currently available. If you are thinking about a new bathroom we would suggest the following:

• Visit the Willbond showroom on the Ilkeston Road which displays a wide range of bathroom products. They can provide technical assistance and product information which can be used to develop an estimate.

• For basic suites look at Armitage Shanks, and for more stylish products try Ideal Standard or Heritage Bathrooms.

• For curved quadrant shower enclosures look at Manhattan’s range.

• For an exhilarating shower experience consider pumped showers from Aqualisa.

• For tiles try Studio Ceramics on the Melton Road, Topps Tiles at Castle Retail Park in Radford, or East Midlands Ceramics on the Hucknall Road (see links below)
